Biofarm SA has implemented an automated integrity warning system that guarantees the confidentiality of reports to ensure the protection of whistleblowers. This system aims to manage the reports of potential violations of the internal regulatory framework or legislation in force.
For the implementation of the whistleblowing mechanism, Biofarm SA has appointed the Ethics Committee as an independent forum that will manage this process.
For this purpose , theEthics Committee may need to collect and process the following categories of personal data relating to the persons involved:
- First name, last name, professional occupation and contact details of the whistleblower and/or the data subject(s) in the report;
- First name, surname, professional occupation and contact details of the person(s) charged with collecting and/or managing the report;
- Reported facts;
- Information collected during the fact-checking;
- Actions and measures taken following the investigation.
This data is intended for the Ethics Committee and, if the situation so requires, some of this data may also be disclosed to the company's management and, when necessary, to the competent authorities.
Biofarm SA informs the persons involved that they have the right of access, rectification and, if applicable, the right to erasure for their personal data. They also have the right to object to the processing of their personal data for legitimate purposes.
