Bucharest, 18 August, 2025 – Biofarm (stock symbol BIO), one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Romania, closed the first half of 2025 with solid performance, confirming the growth pace targeted by the company. Turnover increased by 15% compared to the first half of 2024, EBITDA rose by 14% to RON 61.7 million, and net profit reached RON 48.8 million, up approximately 16%.

In the first six months of 2025, Biofarm consolidated its second place in the Consumer Healthcare (CHC) segment by number of units sold. Sales growth was supported by significant increases in brands dedicated to digestive health, pain management, symptomatic treatment of cold and flu, as well as products addressing stress and anxiety.
The company is the market leader by volume in the reference categories for six of its brands: Bixtonim, Colebil, Triferment, Extravalerianic, Carmol, and Carbocit.
