Composition:
1 ml oral solution contains Cholecalciferol 0.45 mg
Indications:
Prevention of rickets in infants and children. Rickets and osteomalacia treatment, maintenance treatment in osteoporosis, hypoparathyroidism.
Dosage:
Children in the first year of life, for prevention of rickets: 1-2 drops/ day (500-1000 IU/ day) from the age of 1 week to 18 months (children born at full term - about 500 IU/ day; prematures - 1000 IU/ day). Further, vitamin D3 is necessary in the second year of life, especially during winter months.
Adults, for prevention of osteomalacia: 1-2 drops/ day (500 - 1000 IU); in rickets and osteomalacia treatment: 5 drops (2500 IU) 3 times/ day until healing. Maintenance treatment in osteoporosis: 2-6 drops/ day (1000 - 3000 IU/ day).
