Composition:
Each BIOFEN PLUS tablet contains active substances such as Ibruprofen 200mg and codeine phosphate hemihydrate 12,8mg.
Indications:
BIOFEN PLUS is indicated for pain relief such as: headaches, menstrual, dental, spinal, rheumatic, muscular, migraine and neuralgia, reducing fever and symptoms of colds and flu.
BIOFEN PLUS is indicated towards patients over 12 years of age for the treatment of accute morderate pains, which are not considered to be relieved by other analgesics administered alone such as paracetamol or ibruprofen.
Dosage:
Adults and teenagers over 12 years:
Use, when required 1-2 coated tablets of BIOFEN PLUS, then if necessary, use 1-2 BIOFEN PLUS coated tablets at an interval of 4-6 hours.
The coated tablets must be swallowed whole with water.
This medication should not be administered for more than 3 days.
If the pain does not improve after 3 days, contact your doctor for guidance and advice.
A minimal interval of 4 hours is required in between doses, and the dose administered should not exceed 6 BIOFEN PLUS coated tablets within 24 hours. The maximum recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
BIOFEN PLUS should not be given to children under 12 years old due to the risk of emerging severe respiratory problems.
