Indications:
BIOFEN 200 mg este indicat pentru:
• ameliorarea durerilor de intensitate uşoară: osteo-articulare inclusiv reumatismale,
dureri musculare, lombalgii, cefalee, inclusiv cefalee de tip migrenă, dureri dentare, dismenoree;
• tratamentul simptomatic al febrei şi al simptomelor de răceală şi gripă.
Dosage:
Indicated for adults, adolescents, and children weighing over 20 kg(approximately 6 years of age).
Adults and adolescents weighing approximately 40 kg:
Initial dose: take 1 or 2 capsules (200 mg or 400 mg of ibuprofen) with water. If necessary, additional doses of 1 or 2 capsules (200–400 mg of ibuprofen) may be taken, but do not exceed a total dose of 6 capsules within a 24-hour period. The interval between doses must not be less than 4 hours for the 200 mg dose and 6 hours for the 400 mg dose.
Children weighing between 20 and 39 kg(approximately 6 years of age):
Biofen 200 mg should only be used in children with a body weight of at least 20 kg. The maximum total daily dose of ibuprofen is 20–30 mg per kg of body weight, divided into 3 to 4 single doses. The interval between doses must not be less than 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dose. It is recommended not to exceed a total dose of 30 mg of ibuprofen per kg of body weight within a 24-hour period.
