Adults and adolescents over 12 years old - is used for the treatment of a sudden (acute) episode of diarrhea or exacerbations of chronic diarrhea.

Adults

For the sudden (acute) episode, administer 2 Lopemidol tablets once, then one Lopemidol tablet, after each stool. If you have a solid or hard stool or if 24 hours pass without a stool, stop the treatment. But do not administer more than 8 Lopemidol tablets within 24 hours!

Adolescents over 12 years of age

For the sudden (acute) episode of diarrhea, administer one Lopemidol tablet, then continue with one Lopemidol tablet for each stool passed. If the child has a solid or hard stool or if 24 hours pass without a stool, stop the treatment.
